WFN-LEAP ( Learning Enrichment, advancement and progress for young neurologists, trainees and students ) was established at the WFN 2019 to promote a formal advocacy training program to support education, growth, development, networking opportunities for young neurologists, trainees, students worldwide.
Aim:
1. Facilitate advocacy growth and effectiveness of early-career neurologists, trainees, medical students interested in neurology
2. Facilitate personal growth and effectiveness of early learning in clinical neurology, clinical and basic science research trough exposure and networking opportunities
3. Promote engagement of WFN-LEAP members in key WFN activities globally ( e.g. WBD, WCN, regional activities such as AAN, AOCN, ANZAN, EAN)
4. Integrate active WFN-LEAP star performers into appropriate activities where they will make a positive contributions locally, preferably with a global impact.
