We love coffee and are committed to roasting the very best. Based in Manly Vale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and with micro-roasteries throughout Australia, we are constantly searching for new ways to bring coffee to life.

Jenny: Seven Miles has been a prominent member of the Australian cafe culture and coffee scene for the past 50 years. Today, there are so many coffee roasters in the category and there is so much choice to be had. To be able to know that our business is doing the best by our customers, is at the core of the Seven Miles story.

Andy: Seven Miles really began back in 1968 on the Northern Beaches in Sydney. We have a lot of people who have been with us for 10, 15, 20 years, including myself.

Jenny: At Seven Miles we recognise that every cafe owner has unique needs. We offer a portfolio of many different types of coffees, to ensure that we marry the needs of our customers and importantly of their customers too.

Ivo: It’s just an abundance of knowledge at Seven Miles, and that’s fantastic for a small operator. It just allows me to leverage that, with my customers, on a day to day basis.

Jenny: We’ll work with cafe owners, from the full spectrum and I don’t think there are many other roasters who will have the intelligence that we therefore have, as a result of that breadth of market. We absolutely focus on roasting the very best. So, from our experienced green bean buyers, who make sure that our sourcing is absolutely above board, to the way we roast - to our exceptional quality assurance process. Our coffee science and education centre has been established, in the main, to ensure that we are providing thought leadership and research and understanding of what is happening in the market.

Adam: A department that looks at answering the burning questions around coffee science. What is coffee? What makes up a coffee? What kind of reactions go around in coffee roasting?

Jenny: Allows our customers to really understand how we can make a tangible difference and how the little things that they can do, can help to improve and aid their business.

Adam: Our education ranges from very very basic coffee education. How to pour a latte, how to dial in a coffee, through to tastes and sensory masterclasses.

Jenny: Everything we do is in the passionate pursuit of exceptional coffee and at Seven Miles that’s just who we are.
