Right now, you’d probably be sitting in a damp cave, chewing on some old leaves.
You wouldn’t be able to read this text. And you certainly wouldn’t have a phone, or clothes, or vaccines, and you’d have much less to eat.
No roads, and no fridge either.
Science creates the world around us. For many people it’s now something we take for granted.
The new Science Weekend campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, shows you just how important and essential science is. This is why Science Weekend helps young people (aged 8 to 12) discover all the things that science does for us. During this weekend, on 2 and 3 October, young people can experience how science is used by various organisations in the Netherlands.
