Deep inside the V&A Museum of Childhood, lies a village made from a collection of dollhouses. In this village it is always night time, and it seems deserted and still. The Village experience uses Virtual Reality technology to invite visitors into the houses, to discover clues to stories of extraordinary characters and interwoven destinies, revealing a tale of a surreal society and a haunting curse.
Designed by MA students from the Royal College of Art as a part of UCL’s Playing the Archive project, The Village experience is a powerful story made in collaboration with ten children that looks at their perception of today's current affairs, our relationship with the universe, and living life to the fullest.
