Dr. Walker is the Associate Vice President of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University. A historian of Modern Canada, Dr. Walker’s work focuses on the histories of the Black community, race immigration, and the law. His current research includes the histories of the Canadian racial state through multiple perspectives, archives, and lenses. He is currently finishing a study of colonization, race, and the Canadian state.
