In this presentation, I will be explaining the principles of constructivism through the cognitive theories of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky and utilising the core elements of these theories, as well as learning concepts and models, to form a criterion as to whether ICT assists in constructivists learning.
After that I’ll be providing three appropriate examples of ICT that can be applied within the classroom. This presentation will then discuss how they relate to the established criteria of constructivism and the curriculum points of ICT as set by the Australian Curriculum and Reporting Authority, also known as ACARA.
