The working environment

Your new employer is a berlin based Start Up producing cutting edge hardware for the audio technology industry. Based on 3D Audio-Beamforming and Wave Field Synthesis the company produces audio solutions for musical venues, art expositions, conferences halls and arenas. In addition to the hardware they also produce software to control their hardware and/or create audio content. For one of the core software features, you are needed as Tech Lead / Senior C++ Engineer (f/m/d).

Your task

You will be technically responsible for a small team of developers working on a tool for the creation of audio content in form of plugins (VST/AU/AAX) and a standalone application. You have the opportunity to work on a fresh code with very few le legacy elements. You will teach and lead your team by setting a good example in writing modern, clean code and establishing a culture of ownership, trust, and collaboration. You and your team transform challenging input from the research department into user centric solutions for your application. Together with the other teams’ tech leads and the Head of Software Development you discuss and plan the development of cross-stack features.

Your profile

You possess excellent coding skills in modern C++
You have some experience in leading and mentoring a team
It is your passion to teach and bring out the best in the people around you
You are dedicated to testability, maintainability and continuous integration
You have experience with using concurrency and IPC
You are interested in Auralisation and/or Spatial audio
