October is Mental Health Month- a great opportunity to highlight the need for students to positively engage with one another, and discover the possibilities of new friendships. We spend so much of our time attached to technology that we need to stretch our conversational skills every now and then. The Peer Support Australia Talk-and-Walk-a-Thon is a chance for students to get to know their peers in a safe and supportive environment, by chatting while walking.
In October 2019 schools across Australia took part in the inaugural Peer Support Australia Talk-and-Walk-a-Thon, enabling hundreds of students to connect with their peers. Participating schools appreciated the flexible resources provided, which make it easy to create an event to suit your calendar and community.
