Today's Rotarians Of Amateur Radio's guest speaker was Ramon Santoyo, XE1KK, President of IARU Region 2. He gave the group his impression, views of Amateur Radio's future. We are changing with the changes in technology. We may fuss and say that is not ham radio but new technology is finding its way into our hobby, just as it always has. CW was at one time the only mode but it gave way to AM phone, SSB, digital voice, while CW has morphed into RTTY, thru a dozen other digital mode to the collection of JT modes and now FT8. We fuss, but we change. The question is, what are we going to leave for the young people that are interested in Radio?
