How do we bring a three-fold value to the company building process?

1. Minimizing Entrepreneurship risk: We look at various risk drivers and risks that the business takes - technology, market, product, finance and execution. And carefully analyzing these risks allow to us to measured bets. While our entrepreneurs are busy focusing on product-market fit and setting up operations of the business, we make sure that we take only calculated risks.
2. Increasing the efficiency: If you look at any sector, there is at least 30% waste in the company building process. We ensure that this waste does not happen. As an example, lots of entrepreneurs in their early stages of the start-up try to buy their sales with Facebook advertising thereby wasting a lot of marketing money. Also in the hiring process, there is a lot of attrition and founders waste a lot of time and energy in the process.
3. Increasing speed: We give our founders a pre-determined implementation plan so that when they start, they know exactly what to do in the months to come and at the Day 0, we set the culture rightly to align all forces in one direction - to the moon!

How did I start Omedito?

There is a background story to that going back to 2014 when I launched Omedito while living in Germany. Things happened in my life which gave me a very strong sense of purpose - to bring happiness, love, joy and wisdom to other people's lives. Along with my day job, I started to look for ways in which I could do that.

The first thing I did was to launch a mindfulness app called Meditation Easy in 2015 in Germany when learning mindfulness from an app was a crazy idea. Over the course, I published a couple of books, gave numerous lectures in Germany/Switzerland area, ran an e-commerce business, created 500 youtube videos, podcast episodes and what not! I tried to solve every problem that came across my way to bring happiness, love, joy and wisdom to people.

Along this journey I made every possible mistake that an entrepreneur can make. My products did not have any product-market fit, I did not listen to the customers, I did not involve any investors, I tried to do everything myself and a long list of things…

There are various reasons to these mistakes but the biggest reason of them all is that I de-prioritized business imperatives over purpose. Over time I realized that unless companies are built rightly, unless capital is allocated efficiently, there is no way to realize purpose on scale in the times we are living in.

So with those hard learnings, I transformed Omedito now as a company builder to help entrepreneurs build impactful purpose-driven successful companies.
