When you become a Member of The VORTEX, you become a part of our Family. As a Member, you will become an essential piece of the fabric of The VORTEX. Plus, you will receive valuable benefits including discounts at The Butterfly Bar and Patrizi’s, preferred seating and ticket discounts for our unique theatrical offerings, and invitations to quarterly Member events. Members will have personal access to a Member Portal into The VORTEX where they can make reservations and access their benefits.

Our Box Office Manager, Alex Cogburn, has created this exciting new Membership initiative for The VORTEX. When you become a Member of The VORTEX, Alex mails you a custom-made toolkit with your super-cool Membership card and Patrizi’s discount card. You may join at one of three membership levels named after some of the beautiful butterflies that frequent our Butterfly Sanctuary: The Monarch, The Red Admiral, or The Skipper. Become an Inaugural Member before June 1, 2020, and you will be entered into a drawing to win a fabulous night with deluxe breakfast for 2 at the Westin Hotel at the Domain. After being home-bound for so long, this romantic getaway may be just what you need!

Why join us now? When our programming has been suspended and our doors shuttered? Exactly! We need our Family to join us as Members now. You can all make a huge difference by keeping The VORTEX alive. VORTEX artists are creating, dreaming, writing, and collaborating remotely. With your help, we will come through these challenging times and share quality theatre with you again. 25% of all Memberships that begin by June 1, 2020 will go into savings for our Artists’ Endowment to generate funds to pay artists as we recover.

While The VORTEX and our Butterfly Bar have been closed since March 17, we are continuing to bring you quality programming online on YouTube and Facebook Live. Patrizi’s is open for take-out orders, and you can use your Patrizi’s discount card that comes with your membership starting right now. And when we start presenting new theatre this summer, you can be among the first to see all of the new work that we are creating RIGHT NOW. All shows that have been postponed will be re-scheduled for later this summer or next year. See you in The VORTEX.
