The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad! Psalm 126:3 Lacy has had a desire to understand and pursue baptism for a year. She had complex, hard questions and concerns and she sought the Lord and He was faithful! Questions answered and heart settled! Baptism does not save you, you do not come to the Lord after you get "all cleaned up", but come AS YOU ARE in repentance and faith, and as the first act of obedience you get baptized, showing what has taken place spiritually and declaring publically the good Lord has saved you and He is now your Lord(in charge of your life) and Savior. This isn't about religion or mental health(doing what makes you feel good), this is acknowledging TRUTH and reality and accepting the greatest gift there ever has or will be....eternal salvation. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 Here is her testimony and river baptism. We are so grateful her grandpa, with Eddy also at her side, was able to baptize her! Thanks to technology and friends, we were able to take video and facetime with my family in Oregon, so they were "there" as this special moment happened. (Thank you, Paul Chausse!) We share this video in hopes of encouraging you in your own pursuit of Christ. To Him be the glory!
