BACKGROUND /
A personal project from Shenyang based motion warrior Koalaism. This pure and sincere project is inspired by the pursuit of inner peace. In his own words, ‘learning to ignore things is one of the great paths to inner peace’."
APPROACH /
We wanted to imbue a sense of immersive atmosphere and lure the viewer into this near-future world. The sound does not try to reach too far beyond our current reality and primarily serves to score the lonely journey of the protagonist. Instrumentation remains predominantly organic and builds towards a heartfelt live cello performance by our good friend Fraser Bowles.
