Four years of small – but so important! – steps. It's time for a bigger one...

If you wonder why the author hits the curtain, there are two reasons:

1. If you work on the highest dynamics of strokes, the curtain is a very good choice. On the court, you would limit your dynamics to prevent outs, against the wall you would limit it to catch the ball.

2. As the only tennis player, the author has been banned from playing against the walls, because his strokes were too powerful and "...were destroying the walls". Stupidity of this ban is beyond the author's imagination, but the world of sport is full of experts who know physics better than physicists...

Inertial tennis, the first scientifically coherent set of tennis techniques of strokes and movement, was carefully designed to optimize the work of physical laws in the human body and during the interaction between a racquet and a ball. The theory was created by a physicist and science journalist in 2011-2012 and then verified experimentally by the author.

A detailed description of inertial tennis – its scientific background, theory and techniques – will be presented in the upcoming book “Inertial Tennis. The Sources of Internal Power”. For more details please check: inertialtennis.com
