My Final Piece was created with the intention of replicating feelings of deja vu, using mark making from shadows to capture an object that isn’t there. This topic was chosen due to my interest in learning about the theories as there is a lot to wrap your head around and also ties in nicely to psychology, which I used to study and already had interest in. My work is intended to be accessed by the general public who have an interest in art, but was filmed to overcome being unable to replicate the experience. I like how I have been able to manipulate common forms of graphic communication such as typography and videography to have a more abstract concept whilst involving the senses.
