1) Identify recent trends in depression and death by suicide in adolescents
2) Appreciate the unique difficulties families are facing in the setting of the COVID-19 pandemic
3) Discuss how children and adolescents are presenting for mental health care in various settings including to primary care, hospitals, and outpatient psychiatric providers
4) Recognize the increased strain on health care systems by the increased rates of adolescent depression
