ChaTech is Chattanooga's Technology Council. ChaTech is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and is the bridge connecting the tech community to resources needed for growth. And providing scholarships (thanks to Volkswagen Chattanooga’s financial support) to local college students enrolled in IT and computer science degrees is one way to do this.
Our hope is that these scholarships and the opportunities/exposure the scholarship recipients receive from our enterprise organizations and tech companies will encourage them to begin their careers right here in Chattanooga. We want this investment in these students to encourage and inspire them (as future IT/tech talent) to invest back in Chattanooga - it is ChaTech’s mission to create a vibrant tech ecosystem in Chattanooga.
