About the Film:
Broken Media is a short documentary that explores the public perception of the media industry and how it has drastically changed over the last few years. Featuring the voices of journalists and media critics, the documentary highlights the challenges of pursuing accurate journalism and demonstrates how easily people can be misled by fake and biased news in today's fast-paced society.
About the Filmmakers:
Broken Media was filmed and edited by three Communications and Media Arts students at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY. It was created and produced by Zach Traver and co-directed by Seamus Heady and Nicholas Chad Roth, with Professor Camilo Rojas as the Executive Producer.
