Black Space is a community-driven initiative that works as an empowering force to it’s movement. The programming and curation is therefore developed through focus groups and with like-minded partners. Black Space has since it was formed revolved around increasing the awareness of pan-african cultures from around the world. Black Space Festival 2021 will in it’s sophomore year be spotlighting and focusing on the movement from a Scandinavian context, by observing the history and celebrating the impact of the Afro-Scandinavian. We present Black Space as an ability to make further progress through empowering and uplifting culture.
