My Ph.D. research seeks to investigate the interrelationship between architecture and emotions. Specifically, I am studying the impact of temporal variation of visual features of architecture on low-level emotions (AKA affect).
To achieve that, I am simulating architectural experiences by employing Virtual Reality and Photogrammetry. Moreover, I am utilizing algorithmic measures to quantify low-level visual features of those simulations systematically. Later I will use time-series data generated to predict emotional responses evoked with the power of Machine Learning.
