The project welcome, by Aay Liparoto, is a speculative choir piece housed within a ‘void pod’. In their work, Liparoto acknowledges our interdependence with technology for information, work, sex, entertainment, communication, socialising, banking, healthcare and the crossovers in between. What does this web of interdependence mean for queer feminist bodies which rely more heavily on DIY information exchange?

Das Projekt reflektiert die Politik und die Macht von Onlineräumen sowie unser eigenes Verhalten und das der Anderen in diesen Räumen. Der von einer leeren Hülle (void pod) geschaffene Raum beherbergt ein spekulatives Chorstück, das in Workshops mit dem HOT BODIES-CHOIR – einem queeren, LGBTIEA+ und feministischen Chor aus Brüssel – entstanden ist. In der von Licht erfüllten Hülle lädt uns das neue Klangstück dazu ein, Räume und Verhaltensweisen zu hinterfragen.
