In this video, Dr. Stéphane Verguet discusses quantifying health benefits in ECEA. ECEA quantifies the health benefits procured by an intervention similarly to a traditional CEA, except it examines the health benefits across population subgroups instead of 1 (e.g. five income quintiles). Health benefits mainly depend on the disease burden, the intervention coverage by subgroup, and the intervention effectiveness.
