A brief look at our favorite memories from our engagement!

Although Shelby had a feeling Zoravar would propose soon, she was completely surprised!
He had convinced her to go to the lighthouse in Palos Verdes before his Uncle's birthday party. Since they were to travel to Sri Lanka in a few weeks and had seen tons of videos of the famous Galle Lighthouse, Zoravar convinced Shelby it would be nice to see this one - especially right before sunset.
As they started walking around the pathways and enjoying the beautiful ocean views, Shelby heard the first strums of "Bloom" by The Paper Kites - she instantly turned to see Zoravar opening the ring box and getting down on one knee.
"Are you ready?", said Zoravar.
"YES!", said Shelby.
He had arranged a photographer, guitar player, and the clouds somehow magically sat on top of the ocean. After their photo session, Shelby asked him if they were really going to his Uncle's birthday party - to which Zoravar said they were. On the short drive, Shelby called her family to tell them the good news!
As soon as they arrived, Zoravar's family was lining the entry welcoming them with cheers and sparklers - it was a surprise engagement party! They celebrated with music, yummy food, family and friends, and lots of love.
