On November 23rd 2019, a group of friends took a dragon mounted with pots, pans and places to draw to the streets. And wheeled it from the neighborhood of Nabaa to Hamra in Lebanon. The point was to spread a true carnival energy while drawing the people into creating the music and the visuals. A carnaval where all passers by can become the performers.
Given that this took place during the Lebanese revolution of 17th of October, the dragon was wheeled between two areas that represent two politically opposing ideologies, in order to symbolize the connection and ease of communication we as people can have through art and playing games.
