Inspired by dance film ‘Exquisite Corps (42 choreographers, 1 dance)’ by Michell Rose, ‘yes, and’ is a homage to those dance inspirators, and serves as a way to connect to a different generation of dance makers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The choreographic exchange between artists ran from April 2020 to August 2021, spanning many seasons, locations, feelings, and vibrations. ‘yes, and’ was organized by Mitsuko Clarke-Verdery with support from her partner, Anya Clarke-Verdery, and in collaboration with 27 other artists.
