Live from Paris! @YaleAlumni on Instagram presented a live musical performance by Dhyani Heath '18 MusM, one of the artists of the Home2Home collective. Born in New York 1994, Javanese-American violinist Dhyani Dharmawati Heath started her musical journey on the piano at age 3, and on the violin at age 7. Versatile in period and style, her eclectic repertoire spans from Renaissance to Contemporary. Further artistic expressions are seen through her artworks which she likes to present in tandem with her musical performance. Fascinated by musical, as well as visual and theatrical arts, she has herself appeared regularly as a storyteller on Canada Chinese television (CCTV), and has collaborated with writers and actresses, in productions with Marc Roger of La Voie des Livres for example. She likes to juxtapose music and the sciences, realizing a musical conception with her baroque ensemble Flux et Veritas at the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University. She strives to reach beauty and harmony in art, and through music, touch the heart of humanity.
