Rezerwat przyrody Mewia Łacha zajmuje obszar 150 ha. Jego gdańska część, leżąca we wschodniej części Wyspy Sobieszewskiej to 18,91 ha, stanowi największą wartość rezerwatu ze względu na mnogość i różnorodność żyjących tam ptaków i zwierząt oraz wyjątkową roślinność. Pozostała część rezerwatu znajduje się po wschodniej stronie Przekopu Wisły, w gminie Stegna w sąsiedztwie Mikoszewa.

The Mewia Łacha Nature Reserve covers an area of 150 ha. The part on Sobieszewo Island is the largest value of the reserve due to the multitude and variety of birds and animals living there and exceptional flora. The remaining part of the reserve is located on the eastern side of Przekop Wisły, in the commune of Stegna in the vicinity of Mikoszewo.
