Starting tonight the magical world of Oz is coming to the Repertory Company Theatre in Richardson. The classical Wizard of Oz is based on the novel by L. Frank Baum and features the music we’ve all grown to love. The musical stays close to the 1939 film that centers around Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Cowardly Lion, and their journey to down the yellow brick road.
The Wizard of Oz at RTC runs August 20-29 with showtimes Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Visit rtctheatre.com for more information.
