WE WILL NO LONGER BE SILENCED BY YOUR GREENWASHING

Because we know that you, all of you, are part of the problem you're pretending to solve.

I am not willing to not have a future. I believe, fiercely, that another world is possible. A world, that you also can be part of.

A world of solidarity, of responsibility, of free association, a world of horizontal and decentral organisation, a world, where I can speak and you will listen, not because I have to force myself onto stage, but because you know that there is worth in every word and act of resistance against too much accumulation of power and wealth.

You are part of what is destroying the planet. And you know it. If you don't care, then that's that. But if you're scared, just scared of losing your job, please listen.

Deutscher Mittelstand, or should I rather say, part of the ruling class of this planet, you are standing on the shoulder of giants. Of people all across the globe that are forced to work for you, that you exploit to death for your prosperity. You wouldn't be here without them, just as you wouldn't be here without all the people doing unpaid carework for you.

I ask you to take responsibility, as you say you would as an honourable businessman. You know what this is about, this is about life and death. It is about a system that you have co-created and that you are keeping upright, a political and economic system. I do hope to speak in terms you understand, a system that oppresses, suppresses, exploits humans, animals and our planet. A system in which it is just and fair to sell water, mine coal, poison fields, burn forests, overfish seas and, sadly, the list goes on.

And you know just as I do, that we’re facing extinction if we go on with the intertwinement of nation state and capitalism. It scares me and I know, that deep down, you are scared as well. This is not about me and you. This is about all of us and our home, our planet.

So I ask you to take responsibility, as there is one simple solution to all of this. We just have to stop. You can just stop. Stop Working. Just stop. You can be part of this revolution, deutscher Mittelstand. sign out. Go on the longest holiday you ever been. Strike. Turn your company into ruins and start believing, once again, that there is a world beyond capital.

Because I am not willing to believe in the story of the end of the world. I believe in the end of capitalism. I am not willing to be a better consumer, I want to get rid of consumerism. I am not willing to function, I want to get rid of labour altogether. It could be so easy. We can, here and now, write the end to this neoliberal chapter of humanity. And set the beginning to a new one, where there is time and space, imagination and desire, conflict, dance, and joy, and a lot of things we can grow on and work on together. Join us and stop being part of the problem.
