Emma Matthews sings Orlando's aria from our 2016 production 'Voyage to the Moon,' accompanied by an orchestra of specialist musicians.
Inspired by the epic poem Orlando furioso, this new work was a reimagined Baroque opera weaving together music from Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann and Gluck.
'Voyage to the Moon' was a collaboration between Victorian Opera and Musica Viva, in association with the Performance Program of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions.
