From director Elizabeth J. Cassidy, ‘I Am Not Your Muse’ is an experimental and stylised visual exploration of self-discovery. Partly inspired by the relationship between the Pre-Raphaelite female muses and the "genius" male artist, 'I Am Not Your Muse' rejects such a relation and takes us on a journey of one muse's story of self-reclamation, removed from the male-gaze.
