Becky is the translator of LITTLE PARSLEY, a collection of poems by beloved Norwegian poet Inger Hagerup, joyfully illustrated by Paul René Gauguin. As you can imagine, preserving the musicality of a poem from one language to another can be quite a challenge. However, it is obvious from this rendition of ‘They Call Me Radicchio’ that musicality is no issue here!
In a true collaborative effort, musicians Tarjei & Helge Nysted contributed bass and piano from Norway and Becky’s daughter Elle gave the song additional sparkle with a Radicchio collage.
