Ali is an amazing multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer with so much experience working at the forefront of the traditional music scene here in Scotland.
Ali was mentored by the late Gordon Duncan and I’ve asked him to shine a light on Gordon’s compositional style and legacy for you, as well as tell you about his own writing and musical career. His energy and passion for making good music is seriously infectious and I’m really excited for you to meet him (albeit on-screen) and have the opportunity to hear about his journey and process.
