SURRENDER TO THE HOUSE (2021)

SURRENDER TO THE HOUSE marks the first feature-length work by The Jeremy Kellerman Advice Hour. The culmination of a decade of experimental video art and multi-media, the project includes contributions from creative collaborators past and present, including Chriddof, JunkmansDada, Hussalonia, Lothar Ace, Vasamotion, Norman Puppus, and more, in a nearly two-hour long abstract narrative about isolation, anxiety, joy, space, and time. Shifting tone and style from scene to scene, SURRENDER TO THE HOUSE encapsulates the various approaches to filmmaking Kellerman has applied from 2011 to 2021.

Special thanks are extended from Jeremy Kellerman and Leonard Kirke to Chriddof, for his narration and the improvisational voice-over featured at the end of the feature, to JunkmansDada for creating a special episode of "Jack Joe Jackson's Adventure Slideshow" to be included in this project, to F.D. Lewis for special illustrations, to Hussalonia for providing the official theme song and end title music for "The Jeremy Kellerman Advice Hour," to Norman Puppus for his review of "Butt" and support, and to Vasamotion and Lothar Ace for providing both music and video used in the film.

Kellerman would also like to thank Leonard Kirke for the borrowed use of the title "SURRENDER TO THE HOUSE" and for the illustration appearing just before the final credits sequence, and to Chas Elterman, Jak Tiano, Sven, Angrboda, Big J, and others who have supported The Jeremy Kellerman Advice Hour through the years.

This trailer marks the release of "Surrender to the House" on the Internet Archive, where it can be downloaded. Due to the use of sampled material, it's released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND license, with encouragement for those who wish to share the film. Individual segments of the film will also be uploaded later under less restrictive licenses for anyone who might want to freely sample and remix that material.
