I've enjoyed exploring the Prelinger Archives -( archive.org/details/prelinger?tab=collection )- of movies in the public domain, mostly short films, thousands of them. It is a wonderful resource. I've enjoyed taking bits from multiple films and throwing them together into barely thematic semi-random new creations for the purpose of adding interesting (to me, at any rate) visuals to pieces of Hushed by the Hills sound (also interesting to me). I hope that anyone not me who stumbles across the videos collected here may derive a bit of pleasure from them, a laugh, a nightmare... some reaction that rises above a yawn and a snore. These collage videos, and videos which I've shot myself, and likely hybrids of the two in the future, and much of the audio conjoined with them, are the misfit digital artifacts that remain when my playtime must come to a temporary halt and I have to put away my toys.. So, until I again pick up those toys, we can play with dolls... dolls which are able to very quickly grow long hair... something I envy. The title of this video is a quick play on the title of the closing song on a record I've long loved, released in 1974, though the record is thematically related to "1984." Any guesses? Very easy. Much easier than the puzzles of Keeper and Kept.
