Performance audiovisuelle par Mathieu LeSourd, aka Maotik, et Diego Espinosa de 20 minutes mettant en scène un percussionniste utilisant un ballon gonflable comme instrument de musique et d’une projection visuelle immersive en temps réel.

En utilisant 2 microphones de contact et une pédale midi pour les effets, le performeur explorera différentes techniques pour générer des sons. Des bruits de grincements, coups, bulles ou respiration seront associés pour créer une composition musicale unique. Les visuels réagiront aux sons et aux mouvements du performeur en temps réel, donnant l’illusion au public de se trouver à l’intérieur de l’instrument... le ballon.

Audiovisual performance by Mathieu LeSourd, aka Maotik, and Diego Espinosa starring a percussionist using an inflatable balloon as a music instrument and a live immersive projection.

By using two contact mics and a MIDI pedal to generate effects, the performer explores different techniques for generating sound. Squeaking, thumping, bubbling or breathing sounds will be mixed to create a unique musical composition. The visual components will react live to the sounds and to the performer’s movements, giving the audience the impression of being inside the instrument... the balloon.
