The last two minutes of my 2nd string quartet RITORNO, as played by Quartetto Prometeo. Recorded at the premiere on July 21 2019 at the Chigiana International Music Festival. RITORNO is an example of my works based on the auditory pathway of the brain. In this section you see and hear the use of geometric bowing as musical metaphor for auditory scene analysis (a fundamental concept in auditory neuroscience).
