Mid February trip on the Calico Jack to the heart of the coral triangle, where corals are still healthy and as abundant and diverse as they get. This protected area on the most northeastern side of Indonesia belongs to West Papua and makes for some of the most colourful diving in the world. While big fish occasionally do show up, such as manta rays and sharks, divers will encounter paricularly wild and colourful corals, spectacular views and great food on board of the Calico Jack, with a friendly and highly attentive crew. This is a humble recap of the beauty below.
