We by belief are baptized in His name as he told us in Mark 16:15-17. The Apostles everyone of them from Peter, Matthew to Paul all were baptized or did baptize in the name of Jesus as in Acts 2:38; 22:16. No person is considered a Christian without His name placed on us by belief and baptism in God's word. (1 Peter 3:21; Titus 3:5; Romans 6:3-5, ect.) No tradition of man can ever supersedes God's word (Mark 7:13).
