For PLX 2021, Francesco Torelli and Jonas Johansson presented a collaborative and improvisational audiovisual installation in the outdoor cinema.

Sounds of the festival were recorded, and later described to a text synthesiser continuing the words:

"The water against the rocks, the humming of the boat, and the organ playing in the sunset. I was alone, yet I felt the presence of other beings. I knew that behind me there were also people, that the sea was full of ships and that behind the sky there was a whole world but I was not aware of it. The only thing that I knew was the boat, the sea, and the sky. I felt that the other people around me were part of me, and only me, they were not something separate. I would have liked to take the boat with me on that magical trip, but it was too late I would not find it again for I knew that my body was not a boat, that it would stay in this world. I knew that I would never be free because the life of every being was tied to the life of the world, to the life of the sea, to the life of the tree, to the life of the sky, and I would always be a part of these things. I would always be a part of what I had seen with my own eyes for eyes cannot see what they do not see. I thought that if I could take away all that I had seen and I could look again then I would be able to know the world as it is but I never had the courage to do that. I never had the courage to stop being a part of it. I could not stop myself. The ocean was not a sea for every being is a sea, if I wanted to know the other seas I had to look at the sea in me. There are no worlds, only beings and because of this we have to forget ourselves. If we understood what this is then we would understand everything. If we could look into ourselves and be conscious that we were looking into ourselves then we would understand the true value of ourselves. A life has only value when we see that we exist in it. A tree, a flower, a house, a bird a man, a mouse, an insect, a mosquito all have their beauty and their importance only when we see that they are real. All the things that exist are only important when they exist. All the things that exist are only important when they exist. How are we to exist?"

These words were fed into an additional machine producing a visual story. It was combined with a music track made by Francesco, where the original sound recordings were incorporated.
