Origin(ARTS454)

So, this is my third class project. For this one, we had a little more freedom in what we could do, I so decided to tell a story with mine. This video tells the story of an alien taking over the life of a human, and driving her more and more insane as time goes by.

For this project, we had to come up with three rules, one for video, one for editing, and one for Audio.

My rules

1. Video- Each Shot had to involve some form of symmetry- I found this to be the most challenging rule to follow as we have next to no areas that are symmetrical around my house. (My dad hates symmetry)

2. Editing- For editing, I chose a simple rule- each clip had to be 8 seconds. Sometimes, if multiple clips made up one scene, they would count as one clip.

3. Audio- Any speaking had to be done by me. I was originally going to write a song, but I opted to do a cover of Britney's Spears' Alien because I had a vision!

Another rule that I did just for me, is that every time the "Alien" is on screen, the 3 rules become less and less apparent to show the chaos the alien was bringing into Precious Girl's life.
