This little film features a short version of the song On The Road, written and performed by Fife born musician Neil Fraser. It is the opening track of his 2018 album Ancient Satellites, which was recorded by Clive Gray in the homes of the East Neuk musicians who played on it. Clive has produced two compilation albums – George Street Sessions Volumes 1 and 2 – which feature songs by a variety of local artists who frequently met up to make music at venues around the coast, most frequently at open mic events in The Boathouse, Anstruther.
Most of the footage was captured yesterday while I was out for some exercise on my bike. In keeping with the fairly random retro vibe I added a wee bit of footage which was also recorded in 2018. See if you can spot those scenes!
