Footage from participatory event created for staff of Kings's Neurodevelopmental Biology Dept.

Teams work together to create a visual interpretation of an unidentified research image - using finger lights, sound to light bracelets and different physical configurations of their bodies and movements.

They are given the duration of a music track to create this in before their image projected via a live video feed.

Each team performs their collective image and provides an improvised caption which comments on the research or principles demonstrated.

Charlie Murphy developed this event as a creative tool to catalyse new connections and engagement across the departments many different specialisms of research and to open out insights for her own understandings of their work.

This event has developed in collaboration with Dr Richard Wingate, Leigh-Jane Wilson and Stefania Boscolo and has been kindly supported by Kings College.

It was presented at The Royal Holloway in Egham in June 2019.
