"MUSIC TO OBSERVE" is a personal project I started making in January 2019 as a tribute to The Durutti Column, the astonishing and legendary dream-pop band founded in 1978 by Vini Reilly and Factory Records' masters Tony Wilson and Alan Erasmus.

Since arriving in Mexico in 2013, I have collected some images from different corners I have been to. Many of these images seemed salvageable enough to start this audiovisual tribute to one of my favorite bands of all time, whose music inspires me beyond description. Being the music an absolute dreamlike wonder full of textures and rhythms, I decided to edit these videos as closely as possible to the indescribable tones of this excellent musicians. This project helps me to safeguard images that I recorded to which I have a lot of affection, regardless of whether they are good or bad, while taking the opportunity to create visual sketches with total dedication to music. I hope you enjoy it.
