an exposé on violence, racism, and slavery, this motion visual is set to, and inspired by, David Banner's song, "Magnolia"; a visual metaphor of black American experience specifically over the past 100 years. I am the creative director, editor and vfx artist on this project and worked with Daniel Oramas who directed the production via RiTE Media Group. we shot in-studio as well as overnight in the famous Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. we used Mark Roberts' MoCo BOLT robotics and phantom flex 4k for the CU's on magnolia leaves and flame shots.
