This feature will let you know your children’s current location, the history of routes they’ve taken over the last 24 hours and their history for the last 7 days. You can also create places on the map like home or school and if you enable notifications, they will be sent to your device when the child enters or leaves any of the places you set up.

So, let’s see how it works. To track your child’s location go to the Geo tab and after little time for loading, the current position of your child’s device will be shown on the map. The data update regularly, so the time of the latest position update will be shown over the device icon.

To create a new place tap the ‘+’ button > choose the type - Home, School or other > name the place > and locate it by moving it on the map, zooming in and out with two fingers if needed. When done, set the radius of the place, ranging from 50 to 1000 meters. Scroll down to enable or disable the notifications on entering or leaving the place and tap the Add place button. From now on the place will always be shown on the map.

To edit or delete the place, swipe upwards on the lower part of the screen and you will see the Added places list. Tap a place and it will appear on the map. Tap the pencil button to edit the type, name, radius or location of the place by repositioning it on the map. To save the changes tap Edit place at the bottom of the screen. In case you no longer need the place, tap the Bin button and confirm the removal.

The ‘Route’ button is used to show the route a device has taken that day on the main map. To see the route of a device, tap on the button. If you no longer want to see the route on the map, tap the ‘Route’ button again making it greyed-out.

The 'Zoom-In’ button allows you to zoom in on the current location of your child’s device no matter how far you might have zoomed out while browsing the map.

To see the journeys your child has taken on that particular day swipe upwards on the lower part of the screen and the list of routes will be shown.
By tapping the All history button you can check the routes of the child’s device over the last seven days.

It is also possible to track your child’s device location via a desktop computer by going to app.kidslox.com > entering your account credentials > choosing the device > and going to the Geo tab.

To track a device’s location, our app uses GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular networks (3G/4G).

Please note that even if the internet connection is disabled, the app will continue tracking location. However, only after the internet connection is restored, the data will be sent to our server and the tracking data will appear in the app.
