Compilation of the personal projects and freelance I did in 2019-2020.
1. Pyro explosion - Rendered in Arnold
Used the Pyro solver and combination of different microsolvers to simulate the main explosion. Smoke trails and ground smoke are simulated separately.

2. Shield FX - Rendered in Mantra
Everything except the ripple simulation is done at the shader level. This mini project helped me learn the power of Mantra shading network.
3. RBD Destruction
Used a combination of hard, glue and soft constraints for the walls.
Painted some weak area in the constraints to art direct the destruction.
Smoke is simulated using Houdini 18's new sparse smoke solver. And rendered in Arnold.
