This little video is one that is very important to me and my heart. ♡
I would like to share my favorite little movie scene and the story of why I adore it so. ☺️
This one belongs to The Conjuring 2, and it is one of the loveliest parts in my eyes.
When I watched the movie for the first time a few years ago, this scene was the one that made me fall in love with the film, the story, the character Lorraine Warren (portrayed by my sun Vera Farmiga) and her beautiful relationship with Ed. Their love story caught my heart like no other ever did before.
The way Ed and Lorraine treat each other and the families they are helping is wonderful. They are able to share warmth and light in the coldest situations and to make a scary movie lovely. And I think this scene represents it beautifully.
In every scene where they are together, I can feel this warmth and the purity of their love. It always touches my soul.
Two years ago, I needed to take a break from all kinds of media, and so I also stopped watching movies, which used to be my favorite activity in the past.
A year later, something surprising happened, and I am so happy and grateful that it did...
I coincidentally heard that song, and it immediately made me remember this scene and how much I used to love the story and the role of Lorraine. Suddenly, I could feel it all again, and I had the big wish to watch this movie and see her/them. It was as if my heart opened for a second time, and in fact, it did.
This scene, this song, this character, is the reason why I started to watch movies again, and ever since then, I have had so many bright, joyful experiences. It showed me how much I have been missing. I am so glad that I followed my heart and let myself return into my little fan world, and this time, my love grew even stronger than it used to be. The Conjuring movies and Lorraine/Vera have become such a big part of my heart, and that is why I would like to share little bits of them on my channel. I am just so in awe.
Thanks to Vera and Patrick Wilson for their wonderful, authentic way of acting. They have done amazing work, and I appreciate it a lot.
