There is nothing more rewarding than the opportunity to immerse oneself in nature, and I have been blessed time and again with such experiences. I’ve given flying lessons to owls and played chicken with vultures, baited bandicoots with peanut butter and been stalked by a leopard in Botswana. But throughout it all the single constant shining through has always been my love for creatures great and small- each of them possessed of a certain presence that defies description.
