I put this video together for the HAMB Friday art show as part of my VonZemo artist profile there. Made the track in October of 2018. Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the sadest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. I imagined Lon Cheney Jr. would make the perfect bluesman. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. While at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he rips the hearts out of his victims!
I always loved Warren Zevons "Werewolves of London" so that was some of the inspiration here. I also credit Stevie Ray Vaughn who is one my favorite Blues guitarist's and a huge influence in terms of style.
A pretty clean track with limited use of effects with emphasis on articulation and phrasing. Along with some pretty cool riffs, quick runs and lots of string bends and slides.
